Privacy
Your race archive is private by default.
Bib Book stores your bibs, medals, race details, and result matches so you can keep a personal running archive. The app is not a public race profile and does not post to social accounts.
Last updated June 20, 2026.
What We Store
Uploaded bib and medal photos, cleaned display images, thumbnails, image paths for bulk imports, race names, dates, distances, bib numbers, finish times, locations, linked medals, unit preference, and race-match names you add in settings.
How Photos Are Processed
When you add a bib or medal, the app may send the image to model providers used by Bib Book to read the bib, crop or clean the image, and prepare suggested details. Cleaned images and originals are saved to your account as processing finishes so long-running imports are not lost. Suggested details can be wrong, and you can edit them.
Race Result Lookup
To look for official results, Bib Book may use the race name, year, bib number, and athlete names from your profile settings. The match is only applied after you confirm it.
Who Can See It
Your saved bibs and medals are scoped to your signed-in account. Storage paths and database rows are checked against your user id before they are read or changed.
What We Do Not Do
Bib Book does not sell your race data, create a public profile by default, or automatically post your bibs, medals, or results anywhere else.
Your Controls
You can edit or delete saved bibs, export cleaned or original photos, change unit preferences, and remove alternate race-match names from the account menu.
